7-strand Braids

The princess is a witch for halloween. I attempted to make a spider web by doing 4, 7-strand braids. I thought it turned out great.

We went to two different halloween parties. The princess was a salsa dancer at this one. I did a french dutch braid across the top like a headband. And then I spiralled the end of it and bobby pinned it in place.

Waterfall frenchbraid

The Waterfall braid. The princess loves this braid. It doesnt stay in very well in this technique but i found another way of doing this braid that stays in better. I will have to do it again because i didnt take a pic of it.

Pretty heart on a pretty princess!
For this do, you just do a backwards flip/pull through. split the hair in two braids and then secure the two braids in a second smaller ponytail.

"A" Braid

What can I say? Every princess deserves her own monogram braid.

"J" Braid

My kids love the "X" braid. And the princess asked for that one a lot, until now. Now she loves the "J" braid. The Prince (my son) came up with the idea when he saw the "X" braid. He couldn't understand why I made an X...since her name doesn't start with X. :)

When I was done, I just added ribbon around it for accent.
