Easter Basket Weave

I love doing this hair style on Easter. I used smaller pieces this year. It looks prettier, but it took too long for a little princess, about 30-40 minutes. I just used a plastic craft needle and weaved the hair on top through the hair that is pulled back in a pony tail. The curls were made with curlers, which she slept in the night before.

7-strand Braids

The princess is a witch for halloween. I attempted to make a spider web by doing 4, 7-strand braids. I thought it turned out great.

We went to two different halloween parties. The princess was a salsa dancer at this one. I did a french dutch braid across the top like a headband. And then I spiralled the end of it and bobby pinned it in place.

Waterfall frenchbraid

The Waterfall braid. The princess loves this braid. It doesnt stay in very well in this technique but i found another way of doing this braid that stays in better. I will have to do it again because i didnt take a pic of it.
